About the unit

A large DGH Unit
The RBH has 26 haemodialysis stations with a further 24 satellite stations at Windsor and 16 at Bracknell. Expansion is planned both on the acute site and in further satellites.
A high quality CAPD service, with all modalities available.
A 27 bed acute ward with bedside dialysis at 16 of these, side rooms and a complete range of acute dialysis therapies.
Transplantation is performed at Oxford, but local patients are repatriated at between 6 months and one year - with 390 patients currently followed up.
