Research and special expertise

We have an established track record of internationally recognised research in the areas of Peritoneal Dialysis function, in particular the characteristics of the peritoneal membrane; muscle function and body composition in renal failure patients. We also have clinical research interests in CKD-MBD and slowing progression in ADPCKD.

As a Teaching hospital affiliated to the Keele university Medical School we take a full part in the teaching and training of Medical Students and junior Doctors.
